For Anyone : this site
is completely unmoderated, and not secure. I note when I go into a posting, I can see people's emails and phone numbers... as well as have the ability to change words within a note.
Is there a way to lock it down, or make it more private and secure?
OTHER PERSON'S COMMENT: I deleted all my posts; googled myself, and found all my contact info listed online...anything I put here: phone number, etc. Not cool!!

Thanks for your inquiry. This site setup is intentional and there are no plans to add security measures. It is set up in the interest of creating something very simple, easy to use and as stated on the home page, it operates "on the honor system, trusting everyone who uses it to 'do the right thing'." If you don't want to your contact information to appear, you aren't required to list it.
A group of volunteers does moderate the site as we can, moving posts to other sections if they are posted under the wrong category and deleting outdated posts, or the rare, inflammatory note.
We are choosing to cater and appeal to everyone's better selves with this site, and we recognize it won't be for everyone.
